“I was absolutely bowled over by your wonderful presentation. You were so well and truly alive and in touch with your creative instinct. It was really thrilling to listen to the passion in your voice and the beauty of the music on the different instruments.” Anne Baring – Author of The Dream of the Cosmos
Hello and welcome. I am Paula Tait, a singer, therapeutic musician, sound healer and teacher. Throughout my working life, I have witnessed the positive effect of sound and music on the wellbeing of my healing clients, students and audience. From bringing about physiological changes that alleviate stress, pain and disease, to soothing and uplifting us emotionally and spiritually, I am forever in awe of the transformative power of sound and music.
I invite you to join me in experiencing this transformative power for yourself in whatever way it resonates with you. If you feel in need of relaxation, rejuvenation or healing on any level, I offer individual Sound Healing and Harp Therapy sessions. If you are happiest just listening, you may like to come along to a Song Journey, Concert or group Therapeutic Music session. If you would like to deepen your own connection to sound and music, please join me for chanting and meditation in a Song Circle or walking the songlines on a Wildsong Walk. You may even feel called to develop the practice of Deep Song or the Yoga of Sound by taking part in a course or workshop.
In all my work, I draw upon the sound and music-related wisdom of the world’s spiritual traditions, as well my training in sound healing, therapeutic music, Nāda yoga and over twenty years’ experience as a professional musician.
In the Blog section of this website, you will find my thoughts on sound healing and therapeutic music, discussion of some of the instruments that I play, and some insights I’ve gained over the years into musical performance and learning an instrument. I also discuss the Deep Song and the practice of listening to the land. If you would like to get to know me better, there’s more about me and my background in the Resources section.
However you feel drawn to experiencing the transformative power of sound and music, I look forward to sharing the journey with you.
“So many people spoke of the spirit of gentle peace, relaxation and oneness that they experienced from you.” Liz Barry – Care for the World Team, Wheatley URC
