“Sound represents the most powerful of transformative energies known throughout creation.1”
Why Come for sound healing?
People come to me for sound healing for a variety of reasons. Many come because they want to relax, unwind and de-stress. Some people come with aches and pains, others because something is bothering them or because they want to change an aspect of their lives. Quite a few come simply because they enjoy it or know from experience that it “just helps“. All are welcome.
In every case, rather than focusing on specific symptoms of dis-ease, we treat the whole person by gently and lovingly re-introducing physical, mental, emotional and spiritual harmony.
What I OFFER
I am a fully qualified sound healer and I am experienced in a number of different sound and music healing modalities, including voice, harp, gongs, singing bowls, tuning forks and drum. These sound tools are supported by a selection of native flutes, stringed instruments, bells, chimes, conch trumpets and natural percussion. This wide variety of available instruments means that the most beneficial and healing sounds for each individual on any given day are readily to hand.
Some people are very clear about which sounds they want to receive and so we work with the instruments that are calling them. With others, I work completely intuitively, allowing myself to be drawn to the sounds that are needed for that person, sometimes surprising both of us in the process. Generally, it is fair to say that voice, gongs, harp or flute are the instruments that we use most often.
Your Sound Healing Treatment
Due to the restrictions of Covid-19, I am unable to provide in person treatments at this time. However, I still offer individual Sound Healing treatments online via Zoom.
Individual Sound Healing
£45 for 1 hour session (approx.)
I take safety and well-being extremely seriously, which is why, before you come for treatment, I will ask you to fill out a form detailing any health conditions you may have. If you have a condition that would make a certain modality unsuitable for you, we will discuss this beforehand and identify alternative modalities which would be a good match for you. We will go through everything again at the start of the session and you will have the opportunity to ask as many questions as you like. At this time, you can also tell me about what brought you for sound healing and if there are any particular instruments or modalities that are calling you.
Above all, I believe in creating a safe space where you will be supported throughout your session. This is a space of total acceptance and confidentiality, so you need not be anything other than yourself. Here you can be free to lie back and allow the sounds to do their work for you.
Please take a look at the Sound Healing FAQs, which explains how to prepare and what to expect before, during and after your sound healing session. Then, when you are ready, contact me to ask any further questions or to book your sound healing session. I look forward to hearing from you.
